In the days 18.-20. In May 2022, the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Informatics of the CPU in Nitra hosted the initial meeting of the partners of the international project FITPED-AI (Future IT Professionals Education in Artificial Intelligence), in which universities and companies from Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Poland, the Netherlands and Lithuania participate. The project received support of EUR 310,565 from the Erasmus+ program under Key Action 2 Cooperative Partnerships, which provides organizations with opportunities to collaborate with colleagues from Europe.
During three years, the partners will develop a unique educational system that they designed and developed in the previous three years in the FITPED project. The series of artificial intelligence courses will provide university students and the public with study content based on active problem solving, project development, mutual cooperation and improvement of critical, logical and analytical thinking.
The preparation of high-quality students will simultaneously support the building of a new generation capable of carrying out research in the field of artificial intelligence and thus create the prerequisites for the creation of international teams capable of solving the problems of the future.
