Silesian Science Festival: AI without Secrets

On December 8, 2025, the workshop “Artificial Intelligence Without Secrets” with the theme “Experiment!” was held as part of the Silesian Science Festival in Katowice, which took place on December 6-8, 2025.
The festival program brought together hundreds of activities aimed at popularizing science and was open to the public, with free admission.
The workshop was chaired by Prof. Dr. Hab. Małgorzata Przybyła-Kasperek with contributions from Prof. Dr. Hab. Eugenia Smyrna-Trybulska and Dr. Kornel Chromiński.
It was aimed at school-aged children (10-14 years old) and offered a friendly, practical introduction to AI – from simple explanations of what AI is to practical activities that make the topic understandable and interesting.
A key part of the workshop was the use of the open platform Priscilla – an educational resource created to support AI and programming education and to help students continue after event.
