The international project FITPED (Work-Based Learning in Future IT Professionals Education) was successfully launched at the Department of Computer of the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the University of Constantine the Philosopher in Nitra, on 8 and 9 November 2018. The initial kick-off meeting was attended by all partners from Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Poland, the Netherlands and Spain.
The main aims of the project, milestones, schedule as well as tasks related to the individual intellectual outcomes of the project were discussed during the first day of the meeting. The program of the second day was focused on the current state of the applications development and managerial tasks of the project. Finally, the Management Board, Educational Board, Quality Board and all international development teams, which will cooperate on the individual outcomes, have been established.
The formal and informal part of the discussion provided enough room for the detailed description of the project outcomes, understanding the roles and tasks of each partner,
The partners, who visited Nitra the first time, also had an opportunity to visit interesting historical places of the Nitra Down Town and taste the local cuisine.
