
A five-member team from the BEHA-Lab User behavior analysis laboratory from the Department of Informatics of the Faculty of Sciences and Informatics UKF in Nitra participated in the Interactive Collaborative Learning conference in Budapest on October 1–3, 2025, which connects researchers, educators and partners from practice in the fields of educational technologies, artificial intelligence and interactive collaborative learning.
The team’s goal was to present new approaches in technology-supported learning, artificial intelligence and user behavior analysis in virtual environments. It was also a space for professional discussions and exchange of experiences with other workplaces.
BEHA-Lab representatives presented scientific contributions in professional sections focused on AI nad GenAI in education and training, learning analytics in engineering education, games in engineering education and practical experience in digital learning.
The program also included an evaluation of student contributions, where doctoral student Mgr. Matúš Valko won the Runner-up – Best Student Paper Award for his paper Detection and Prevention of Inappropriate User Behaviour in Virtual Environments. The paper focuses on the recognition and prevention of inappropriate behaviour in online environments, in particular the automatic identification of fake accounts and unethical behaviour in virtual educational environments, using the Priscilla system as a model platform.
